Project OMELETTE is searching for poultry farmers

Project OMELETTE is looking for poultry farmers

The OMELETTE project is looking for poultry farmers. This European project examines, among other things, how problems in the poultry house can be detected at an early stage using data. The pilot farms are followed during two flocks and are given access to a data platform that provides more insight into the ins and outs of their farm.

The aim is to identify problems at an early stage, allowing for a faster and more effective response to optimize the productivity and health of the hens. Poultry farmers that participate in the Omelette project must have access to the stable data, so that the data can be viewed and analyzed. In addition, some farm visits will be carried out during the monitoring period.

In order to participate, the interested farms must meet the following criteria:

  • Laying hen farm or (grand)parent stock farm
  • Free-range (aviary or ground housing)
  • Vencomatic Group products Meggsius Select and Meggsius Count&Control available
  • Possibility and your permission to install additional sensors in the stable

Do you have questions or are you interested in participating? Then take a look at the website; https://lnkd.in/eW4XHNdk and/or contact one of our project partners: Pehestat and/or Vencomatic.
