Orbem develops AI-powered MRI technology to automatically determine the sex of eggs in-ovo and classify them as males or females. The technological competences of seeing inside of eggs and classifying them is relevant for the project to assess the impact of these technologies in the transition towards a more resilient egg production in North-West Europe.

Eggs are scanned and classified in a non-invasive way. It is fast, accurate, safe, and works for all poultry breeds. AI-powered MR can detects the fertilization status of eggs pre-incubation, the sex of developing embryos in-ovo and phenotypes.
