Looking Back at Libramont – Poultry Conversations That Matter
At the end of July, Pehestat joined our partner Galluvet at the Libramont Fair– Europe’s largest open-air fair for agriculture, forestry, and agri-food. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with farmers, veterinarians, and professionals from across the sector, and to share our vision for a more sustainable poultry industry.
🐔 Meeting poultry farmers in Libramont
Even though poultry is not the most prominent branch at Libramont, we were
delighted to welcome many poultry farmers to our booth. These conversations
were interesting and allowed us to introduce them to the Interreg OMELETTE
project – focusing on health, animal welfare, and sustainability in poultry
farming.
💡 Exploring opportunities with OMELETTE
During the fair, we also discussed the OMELETTE call/voucher system with
farmers. We were excited to see strong interest – and even had the chance to
note down our first two candidates whose farm planning aligns perfectly with
the activities for the Longevity Action Plan.
