Yesterday, a video crew from PlattelandsTV visited the Experimental Poultry Center to shoot a videorecording on the OMELETTE project.
Niels, Nathalie and Ashley presented the project, by explaining the collaboration between all 11 partners, to achieve the ultimate goal of driving the poultry layer sector towards a more sustainable and resilient future. The projectpartners share their knowledge and techniques to make sure that the hens will live longer in a good environment, without impairing the health and welfare of the birds.
Initiatives like this recording help us bridge the gap between farmers, local authorities and consumers. On October 27th, the video will be aired on PlattelandsTV. Soon after that, the video will also be shared on the YouTube-channel of the Province of Antwerp.
